Ursula Murray
HANOVER, Ind. -- Ursula E. Murray, 59, of Hanover, formerly of Cairo, Ill., died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2008, at King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison, Ind.
She was born July 16, 1949, in Germany, daughter of Walter and Ruth (Nitsche) Adolf. In 1969, she married Thomas Linley Murray. He died in 1971.
Murray moved to Cairo from Germany in 1970 and then to Madison in 1978. She was formerly employed at the U.S. Shoe Corp. and currently employed at Arvin Sango, both in Madison. She was a member of the Cairo Baptist Church (now Mighty Rivers Regional Worship Center).
Survivors include a son, Thomas Murray of Madison; a sister, Birgit Adolf of Germany; a brother, Wolfgang Adolf of Germany; a half-brother, Gerd Nitsche of Germany; two grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call at from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Lytle Funeral Chapel in Madison.
Graveside services will be at noon Thursday at the Green Lawn Memorial Gardens at Villa Ridge, Ill. The Rev. Dr. Larry Potts will officiate.
