GLEN ALLEN -- Funeral service for Truman Dale Shell of Glen Allen will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Baker Funeral Chapel in Lutesville. The Revs. Randy Poole and Gerald Huff will officiate, with burial in Baker Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Friday.
Shell, 60 years old, died Tuesday, April 2, 1991, at St. Francis Medical Center.
He was born Nov. 13, 1930, at Sank, son of Vernon and Hallie Fisher Shell. He married the former Betty Shipley.
Shell was a painting contractor, member of New Salem Baptist Church, and veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Brenda Grant of Orlando, Fla., Norma Davault of Glen Allen, Kimberly Scott of Augusta, Ga.; his mother, Hallie Vesterby of near Lutesville; a brother, Frederick Shell of Zalma; a sister, Lorena Eaker of Church Hill, Tenn.; six grandchildren, and a great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by a brother, sister and three grandchildren.
