Trula Mary Schoenebeck, 87, of Jackson died Monday, Jan. 8, 2007, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born July 3, 1919, in Jackson, daughter of Henry H. and Clara Loos Willa. She and Karl W. Schoenebeck were married July 2, 1939. He died Aug. 6, 2003.
Schoenebeck was a lifelong member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Fruitland. She worked on the family farm, and had worked at Pioneer Orchard, Pioneer Market and the former Cow Bell Ice Cream Shop, all in Jackson. She attended the First Baptist Church of Jackson and supervised the children on Sundays in the church nursery for about 40 years.
Survivors include two sons, Roland B. Schoenebeck of Jackson, Roy W. Schoenebeck of Mehlville, Mo., a sister, Ruby Bock of Jackson; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three great-stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call today from 4 to 8 p.m. at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Rev. David E. Schaffner officiating. Burial will be in St. John's United Church of Christ Cemetery.
