Trudell McMackins was a quiet person who loved horses and her pets. She enjoyed reading, especially histories and biographies of our developing country. She also loved travel and considered herself privileged to see many beautiful places in the continental U.S. as well as Hawaii, Mexico, Canada, and several European countries.

She was a charter member of Hooe Baptist Church near Oran, where she taught Sunday school and vacation Bible school many years.

She will be greatly missed by those she left behind, but we look forward to the happy reunion to come.

Family visitation will be from 4 to 5 p.m. and public visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran.

The funeral will be Friday at 10 a.m. at Amick-Burnett. She will then be laid to rest beside her husband Oren in New Morley Cemetery at Morley, Mo.
