MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Troy S. Welker, 91, of Marble Hill died Sunday, Jan. 15, 2006, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born April 28, 1914, at Shrum, Mo., son of Louis and Fannie Aldrich Welker. He and Veda McCray were married Oct. 14, 1939. She died Sept. 24, 2002
Welker was a retired pallet mill worker, and member of Hurricane Fork General Baptist Church near Marble Hill.
Survivors include three sisters, Rebecca Welker of Cape Girardeau, Bertha Welker of Millersville and Martha Abernathy of Whitewater.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 4 to 8 p.m. today, and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at Hurricane Fork Church.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with the Revs. Jimmie Fulbright and Steven Sander officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
