TROY DAVENPORT

MARBLE HILL -- Graveside service for Troy E. Davenport of Marble Hill will be held at 11 a.m. today at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson. The Rev. Janet Hopkins will officiate.

Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson from 9-11 a.m.

Davenport, 72, died Friday, May 24, 1996, at Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Feb. 16, 1924, at Millersville, son of Ben F. and Jeffie A. Davis Davenport. He first married Lorine P. Musgraves, who preceded him in death. He and Betty Lee Ravenstein were married in 1960. She died in 1985.

Davenport was a member of Burfordville Baptist Church and Disabled American Veterans. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Survivors include a son, Troy Davenport, address unknown; two brothers, Roy and Ray Davenport of Jackson; two sisters, Grace Proffer and Hazel Proffer of Jackson, and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother.
