AVA, Ill. -- Troy Lee Crowden, 58, of Ava passed away Sunday, Aug. 26, 2018, at his home.
Troy was born Dec. 19, 1959, in Painting, Missouri, the son of Edward E. and Wanda Lee Tuttleton Crowden. He was married to Betty Jo Scholz.
He was a logger and a member of First Pentecostal Church of Ava.
He is survived by two sons, Steven Crowden of Daisy and Michael Crowden of Grand Tower, Illinois; a daughter, Sarah Libbert of Grand Tower; and grandchildren, Noah, Sienna, Destiny, Miranda, Katie, Cody and Trey. He also is survived by his siblings, Barbara Emerson of Ava, Lola Bruce of Willisville, Illinois, and Dianna Blais of Ava.
Troy was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Johnny Crowden; and his wife, Betty Crowden.
Visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at Wilson's Funeral Home in Ava.
A memorial service will follow at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Tom Bevis officiating. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee, Missouri.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
