SCOTT CITY, Mo. -- Travis Vaden Hamil, 20, of Manhattan, Kan., died Tuesday, June 26, 2001, at his home.

He was born July 24, 1980, in Cape Girardeau, son of Steve and Debra Ann Heisserer Hamil.

Hamil was a member of St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church in Manhattan.

Survivors include his parents of Manhattan; a brother, Dustin Hamil of the home; a sister, Summer Hamil of the home; maternal grandparents, Barney and Alta Heisserer of Kelso, Mo.; and paternal grandparents, Bob and Wendy Hamil of Scott City.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Joyce Hamil, Feb. 13, 1994.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Revs. James Seyer and Dan Greene officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery at Scott City.
