COBDEN, Ill. -- Tonya L. Persinger, 32, of Cobden died Wednesday, July 18, 2001, at Union County Hospital in Anna.
She was born Feb. 19, 1969, in Olney, Ill., daughter of Robert and Loretta Teets Fulk. She and Jimmie Persinger were married July 28, 1989, in New Port Richey, Fla.
Persinger was an accountant at SIU Press in Carbondale, Ill. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Cobden.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Xachery of the home; her father of Noble, Ill.; her mother of Harrisburg, Ill.; a brother, Client Fulk of Noble; and paternal grandparents, Dale and Charlene Fulk of Noble.
Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Cobden from 6-8 p.m. today, and Friday at First Baptist Church from noon until time of service.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the church, with Dr. Daryl Varble officiating. Burial will be in Cobden Cemetery.
