Tony Eugene Williamson, 73, passed away Monday, April 24, 2017, at his home north of Jackson.
He was born Oct. 7, 1943, in Cape Girardeau to Russell and Minnie Mae Craft Williamson. He and Barbara Jean Seabaugh were married July 3, 1964.
Tony was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church near Pocahontas. He retired from Florsheim Shoe Co. after 30 years of employment.
Loving survivors include his wife of 52 years, Barbara Williamson of Jackson; a daughter, Valarie (Rick) Sachs of Frohna, Missouri; two sons, Russell Williamson and Matt Williamson of Jackson; two sisters, Dorothy Stapp and Rosetta Schuessler of St. Peters, Missouri; two brothers, Jim Williamson of Cape Girardeau and Cline Williamson of Jackson; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Jackie Williamson and Bob Williamson.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson, and from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at New Bethel Baptist Church.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with the Revs. John Rhodes and Ken Grant officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials to New Bethel Baptist Church, New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery or the Missouri Veterans Home Foundation in Cape Girardeau.
