Anthony "Tony" Trabon, 96, passed away in his sleep Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2004, in Kansas City, Mo.

He was a veteran of World War II.

He is survived by a daughter, Cecilia Yelick of Overland Park, Kan.; a granddaughter, Cheryl Dietrich of Cape Girardeau; a grandson, John Yelick of Fresno, Calif.; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Cammisa Trabon.

A funeral Mass was held Oct. 2 at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church. The funeral service concluded at Mt. Moriah and Freeman Chapel in Kansas City, with a military burial and honor by the U.S. Marine Corps.
