SCOTT CITY -- Tony Ray Beckett, 31, of Scott City died Thursday, April 17, 1997, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. He was born at Cape Girardeau June 8, 1965, son of Leonard L. and Donna Marie Rhodes Beckett. Beckett was employed by Havco Wood Products at the time of his death. SCOTT CITY -- Tony Ray Beckett, 31, of Scott City died Thursday, April 17, 1997, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born at Cape Girardeau June 8, 1965, son of Leonard L. and Donna Marie Rhodes Beckett.

Beckett was employed by Havco Wood Products at the time of his death. Previously, he had worked for Tanscrafter in Anna, Ill., Wetterau and SEMO Carpet Cleaning.

He graduated from United Township of East Moline, Ill., in 1983.

He is survived by his father, Leonard, of Scott City; his fiancee, Denise Reusenbichler; two brothers, Leonard Beckett Jr. of East Moline and John Beckett of San Antonio; three sisters, Donna Rebecca Beckett of Scott City, Patricia Mier of Jackson and Kathryn Saddler of San Antonio; and his grandmother, Flora Rhodes of Cape Girardeau.

He was preceded in death by a sister.

Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. today at the Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. The Rev. Terry Eades will officiate, with burial at St. Mary's Cemetery at Cape Girardeau.
