ZALMA -- Tommy West, 60, Zalma Route 2, died Tuesday, March 17, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. He was born Jan. 2, 1932, at Arab, son of Buford and Stella Ward West. He and Imogene Rice were married Aug. 2, 1952, in Piggott, Ark. West had worked at Mirley Truck Sales in Advance. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War...

ZALMA -- Tommy West, 60, Zalma Route 2, died Tuesday, March 17, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born Jan. 2, 1932, at Arab, son of Buford and Stella Ward West. He and Imogene Rice were married Aug. 2, 1952, in Piggott, Ark.

West had worked at Mirley Truck Sales in Advance. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Mick West of Arab, Stanley West of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Donna Turner and Peggy West of Zalma; three brothers, Peck West of Lowndes, Pete West of Arab, Donnie West of Washington, Mo.; three sisters, Lois Gebro of Tujunga, Calif., Veda Deckard of St. Louis, Delphia Jackson of Gipsy, and 10 grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. The Rev. Eldo Eaker will officiate, with burial in Berrong Cemetery at Gipsy.
