Tommy Lee Sander, 67, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009, at his home.
He was born Aug. 14, 1942, in Cape Girardeau, to Franklin John and Margurite L. Wiseman Sander. He and Barbara N. Senciboy were married April 21, 1989.
Sander was a member of the Eagles Aerie and Elks Club in Cape. He coached girls softball 12 years and was an active Scout leader with Pack 8. He was a former member of Trinity Lutheran Men's Club.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Sander of Cape Girardeau; a son, Keith R. Sander of Jackson; three daughters, Shelbey Lee Mayberry of Jackson, Debra L. Pobst and Denise J. Quick of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Franklin John Sander Jr. of Cape Girardeau; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Stan Hargis officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
