GRASSY -- Memorial service for Tommy Lee Stewart of Grassy will be held at 11 a.m. today at Liley Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill. The Rev. Don Cook will officiate. VFW Post 5900 will then conduct a military service.
Burial will be at a later date.
Stewart, 45, died Sunday, May 29, 1994, at Grassy.
He was born Sept. 8, 1948, in Manila, Ark., son of Joe A. and Bea Stewart.
Stewart moved to the area about a year ago from Aztec, N.M. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors include a son, Elton Stewart of Highland, Ill.; a daughter, Tammy Stewart of Highland; his parents of Grassy; three brothers, Larry and Allen Stewart of Marble Hill, Donald Stewart of Memphis, Tenn.; three sisters, Joyce Hayhurst of Freeburg, Ill., Mary Stewart of Grassy, Linda Werth of Jacksonville, Fla., and a grandfather, Bill Wagner of Mountain Home, Ark.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
