TAMMS, Ill. — Vance T. "Tommy" Hazelwood Jr., 47, of Tamms passed away Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2023.
He was born July 31, 1976, in Cape Girardeau to Vance T. Sr. and Debra McKee Hazelwood of Tamms.

He enjoyed playing pool, golfing and working on any kind of car or motorcycle. He loved his family and his children and was always supporting them at their events.
Loving survivors include his parents; three children, Brittany (Kristian) Troxel and Jaxson and Jaycee Hazelwood; former spouse, Nikki Hazelwood; sister, Regina (Michael) Vonhasseln; brother, Samuel (Courtney) Hazelwood; seven nieces and nephews; grandson, Carsen Ellis; and special friend, Cara Hammond, and her daughter, Slaedyn Hammond.
Tommy was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6, at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms. A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, at McCrite Cemetery, with Robin Reid officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to American Heart Association or Jackson Soccer Field Fund (JAOSA). Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
