CHARLESTON -- Tommie Leonard Redmond, 15, of Charleston, died suddenly Sunday, Feb. 13, 1994, from an accidental gunshot wound.
He was born July 22, 1978, in Chicago, son of Milton and Ella Jones Redmond.
Redmond was a sophomore at Charleston High School.
Survivors include his mother of Chicago; two sisters, Erica Redmond and Phyllis Brown of Chicago; a brother, Antwon German of Ft. Hood, Texas; maternal grandparents, Leola and Lozelle Cothran of Charleston, and paternal grandmother, Laverne Speed of Chicago.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Friends may call at Sparks Funeral Home from 3:30-8 p.m. today, and after 11 a.m. Saturday.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bowden Civic Center. The Rev. Wiley Reed will officiate, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
