Tommie Lois Corbin, 58, of 2010 Woodlawn, died Friday, April 11, 1997, at her home.
She was born Oct. 17, 1938, in Corning, Ark., daughter of Thomas and Lucille Goffett Clifton.
She married Ernest L. Corbin on May 14, 1964, in Poplar Bluff.
She was a registered nurse and worked at Lucy Lee Hospital in Poplar Bluff. She retired from nursing in 1963. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Poplar Bluff. She lived in Cape Girardeau for 33 years.
Survivors include her husband; her mother of Poplar Bluff; two sons, Ernest L. Corbin Jr. and Thomas Corbin, both of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Treva Skiles of Poplar Bluff; and two grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at City Cemetery in Poplar Bluff. Friends may call Monday from 11 to noon at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau.
