MARBLE HILL -- Tom F. Cook, 88, of Marble Hill died Monday, Nov. 4, 1996, at his home.
He was born May 4, 1908, in the Hurricnae community of Bollinger County, son of Adam Lee and Kizzie Caroline Langston Cook. He and Donie J. Garland were married Dec. 29, 1929. She died April 21, 1990.
Cook was a retired timber worker.
Survivors include two sons, Billy and Buford Cook of Marble Hill; three brothers, Perl, Rev. Grover and John Cook, all of Marble Hill; three sisters, Annie Long, Ruby Hanners and Iva Nelson, all of Marble Hill; three granddaughters; and two great-grandsons.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill after 3 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Jimmy Fulbright and Steven Sander officiating. Burial will be in Hurricane Fork Cemetery.
