Timothy Simmons
COMMERCE, Mo. -- Timothy Joseph Simmons, 45, of Commerce died Friday, July 10, 2009, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
He was born June 13, 1964, in Cape Girardeau, son of James "J.D." and Joy Jean Johnson Simmons.
Tim was a booking agent for Great Lakes Airline. He was a graduate of Metro Business College and a member of the Commerce Better Community Club and St. Paul United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his mother of Commerce; six brothers, Doug Simmons of Charleston, Mo., James (Mary) Simmons II of Benton, Mo., Norman Sander of Honolulu, Mark (Brenda) Sander of New Hamburg, Mo., Keith (Pam) Sander of Cape Girardeau and Scott (Debbie) Sander of Commerce; two sisters, Sharon Beardsley of Bardwell, Ky., and Sherre Simmons of Commerce; and a sister-in-law, Regina Sander of Scott City.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Kevin E. Sander.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. The Rev. Jim Norris will officiate.
Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery in Commerce.
