Thomas Williams

Thomas Dean "T.D." Williams, 48, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, June 12, 2006, at his home.

He was born Nov. 4, 1957, in Durango, Colo., son of Lorenz "Red" and Grace Colgate Williams.

Williams was a 1976 graduate of Central High School, where he participated in football, basketball and baseball. After graduation he worked on offshore oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico, then on luggage conveyors at a Dallas airport. After returning to Cape Girardeau he had his own painting and carpentry business.

He is survived by his mother, Grace Williams of Cape Girardeau; his father, Lorenz "Red" Williams of Florence, Colo.; a brother, Tracy Williams of Kimberling City, Mo.; two sisters, Terri Williams of Palmer Lake, Colo., and Toni Mills of Cape Girardeau.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home from 10 a.m. to service time June 21.

A memorial service will be held at the funeral home at 11 a.m. June 21, with the Rev. Cy Smith officiating.
