Thomas A. Weiss, 77, of Gordonville passed away peacefully Thursday, July, 9, 2020, at his home.

He was born May 3, 1943, in Cape Girardeau to Herman and Marie McQuire Weiss. He and Delma Goehman were married March 27, 1961, in Cape Girardeau.

Tom was a 1961 graduate of Jackson High School. He was an owner/operator for Steel Haulers Inc. and an ABF road driver for 20 years. Tom enjoyed boating, riding his Harley, flying an airplane and was a licensed private pilot for 20 years. He was a Teamsters member for 44 years and member of Coast Guard Auxiliary.

Loving survivors include his wife of 60 years, Delma Weiss; son, Clint (Anamaria) Weiss of Jesup, Georgia; daughter, Tamela Weiss Jones of Cape Girardeau; sister, Susan (Edgar) Ailor of Columbia, Missouri; brother, Randy (Rosie) Weiss of DelRay, Florida; grandchildren, Lacey Jo Kight, Kara Lynn Davis, Clint Weiss Jr. and Anthony Thomas Weiss; and great-grandson, Easton Blake Davis.

He was preceded in death by his parents and in-laws, Oscar and Hazel Goehman.

To honor Tom's wishes, there will be no public memorial visitation or service.

If desired, memorial contributions may be made to American Kidney Fund, American Diabetes Association or American Heart Association.

McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center is in charge of arrangements.
