JACKSON -- Thomas Statler, 86, of Jackson, died Friday, July 15, 1994, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Oct. 18, 1907, in Perryville, son of Dempsa and Emma Biri Statler. He and Ruth Frank were married Feb. 17, 1962. He died Aug. 20, 1982.
Statler was a baker with the former Wagner Bakery and at Willie's Bakery here. He was a member of Zion United Methodist Church at Old Appleton.
Survivors include a son, Lester Statler of El Cajon, Calif.; two stepdaughters, Ann Morgan of Minnesota, Jean Weldon of Aurora; a brother, Loyd Statler of Oak Ridge; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home from 4:30-8 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with Janet Hopkins officiating. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery.
