ADVANCE, Mo. -- Thomas Nelson "Tom" Pikey, 72, of Advance, formerly of Scott City, died Monday, Jan. 30, 2017, at Southeast Health of Stoddard County in Dexter, Missouri. He was born Aug. 28, 1944, in Conran, Missouri, to Charlie Cecil and Stella Mae White Pikey. He first married Linda Kay Kinder on Nov. 25, 1964, in Scott City. She preceded him in death March 30, 2012. He married Wanda Lou Bishop on June 27, 2015, in Bloomfield, Missouri.
He was a mechanic for Kmart in Carbondale, Illinois, and recently a delivery driver for NAPA. He was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church in Bloomfield.
Tom is survived by his wife; a son, Eddie Pikey of Jackson; a daughter, Misti Harrison of Scott City; two stepdaughters, Donna Tidwell and Sherry Limbaugh, both of Advance; two brothers, James Pikey of Burton, Michigan, and Cecil Pikey of Scott City; a sister, Linda Rampley of Bloomfield; three grandchildren, Heather Strohmeyer and Carter and Mattie Pikey; and four great-grandchildren, Marley, Cambrie, Emma and Cooper Strohmeyer.
He also was preceded in death by a sister.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until time of service Thursday at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City.
Funeral service will be at 6 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Charles Robertson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Union Grove Baptist Church in Bloomfield.
