Thomas N. Lawrence, 41, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2001, at St. Anthony Medical Center in St. Louis.
He was born Jan. 17, 1960, in Charleston, Mo., son of J.L. and Betty Parker Lawrence.
Lawrence was a 1978 graduate of Charleston High School. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Survivors include his wife, Serena Lawrence of Chicago; three stepchildren, Tristen Lawrence of Chicago, Sean Patterson and Avery Winfield of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Clarence Lawrence of Charleston, Jerry Lawrence of Detroit, Mich.; four sisters, Lizzie Branch of Detroit, Carolyn Bird, Rose Parker and Michelle Lawrence of Cape Girardeau; and maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Douglas of Charleston.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call at Sparks Funeral Home in Charleston after 9 a.m. Saturday.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Elder Steve Betts will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery at Charleston.
