CAIRO, Ill. -- Thomas Lee Williams Jr., 54, of Cairo, died Saturday, Sept. 16, 1995, in Mounds. He was born March 6, 1941, in Cairo, son of Thomas and Dorothy Johnson Williams Sr. He and Eddie Lou Vickers were married in 1962 in Chicago. CAIRO, Ill. -- Thomas Lee Williams Jr., 54, of Cairo, died Saturday, Sept. 16, 1995, in Mounds.

He was born March 6, 1941, in Cairo, son of Thomas and Dorothy Johnson Williams Sr. He and Eddie Lou Vickers were married in 1962 in Chicago.

Williams lived in Chicago 20 years and in Hope, Ark., five years. He returned to Cairo in 1988.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Cynthia and Adriane of Atlanta, Ga.; his mother; seven sisters, Betty Nelson, Gwen Agnew, Bernadine Johnson, all of Cairo, Carol Weatherspoon, Tonya and Marilyn, all of Milwaukee, Wis., Gloria Baldwin of Bolingbrook; two brothers, Gilbert Williams of Milwaukee, Willie Williams of Cairo, and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother.

Friends may call at Algee Memorial Chapel in Cairo from 9-11 a.m. Friday.

Funeral service will be at the chapel at 11 a.m. Friday, with the Rev. Leroy Lockridge officiating. Burial will be in Spencer Heights Cemetery in Mounds.
