PERRYVILLE -- Thomas Leroy Hart, 71, of Perryville, died Friday, July 5, 1991, at his home. He was born Dec. 17, 1919, at Perryville, son of Ode and Louise Fassold Hart. He and Anna Lee Otte were married June 15, 1946. She died March 12, 1959. Hart was a retired mail carrier with Perryville Post Office. He was a member of Knights of Columbus, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion and Sportsmen's Club. He was a veteran of World War II...

PERRYVILLE -- Thomas Leroy Hart, 71, of Perryville, died Friday, July 5, 1991, at his home.

He was born Dec. 17, 1919, at Perryville, son of Ode and Louise Fassold Hart. He and Anna Lee Otte were married June 15, 1946. She died March 12, 1959.

Hart was a retired mail carrier with Perryville Post Office. He was a member of Knights of Columbus, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion and Sportsmen's Club. He was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include five sons, Thomas Hart Jr. of Warrenton, John Hart of Bowling Green, Ky., James Hart of Perryville, William and Robert Hart of St. Louis; four daughters, Julie Chappius of Union, Clare Bergman and Mary Frentzel of Perryville, Lee Hart of St. Louis; three sisters, Zelma Siebert of Ste. Genevieve, Mildred Brunke of Perryville, Verna Tucker of St. Louis; 19 grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by a brother, three sisters and three grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Young and Sons Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Edward Wilson will officiate, with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. today. A parish wake service will be held at 7, with VFW service at 7:15, and American Legion service at 7:30.
