PERRYVILLE -- Thomas Joseph Welker, 63, of Perryville died Sunday, Feb. 25, 1996, at his home. He was born April 28, 1932, at Apple Creek to Joseph A. and Anna Buchheit Welker. He married JoHanna H. PERRYVILLE -- Thomas Joseph Welker, 63, of Perryville died Sunday, Feb. 25, 1996, at his home.

He was born April 28, 1932, at Apple Creek to Joseph A. and Anna Buchheit Welker. He married JoHanna H. Welker on Oct. 30, 1954.

He was a retired clerk for the U.S. Postal Service. He served in the U.S. Marines Air Corps during World War II.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the American Legion and the American Postal Union.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Ricky T. Welker, Robert A. Welker, Timothy L. Welker, all of Perryville; two daughters, Debra A. Pauly of St. Louis and Dianne A. Papin of Perryville; three brothers, James Welker, Francis Welker and Donald Welker, all of Perryville; three sisters, Margaret Wibbenmeyer, Dorothy Versheldon and Helen Buerck, all of Perryville; and 10 grandchildren.

Visitation is 4 to 9 p.m. today at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville and from 6:30 a.m. until time of service Tuesday. Parish wake and Knights of Columbus services are today at 7 p.m. with American Legion service following at 7:15 p.m.

The rosary will be said Tuesday at 9 a.m. at the funeral home. Service will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church in Perryville. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Catholic Cemetery in Perryville.
