TAMMS, Ill. -- Thomas Holland Jr., 90, of Tamms passed away Monday, Aug. 17, 2020.
Tom served as police commissioner and captain of the Dupo (Illinois) Volunteer Fire Department for many years. He also was a member of Sandy Creek Baptist Church in Tamms.
He is survived by his wife, Audrey; son, Tom (Liz) of Florida; daughters, Debbie of Dupo and Connie of Columbia, Illinois; stepson, Don Miller Jr. of Belleville, Illinois; stepdaughter, Tammy (Lindell) Thurman of Ellisville, Missouri; sisters, Anita, Betty and Wanda of St. Louis; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Nola Holland of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas; his former wife, Lois, of Dupo; brother, Louis (surviving wife Barb) of Crestwood, Missouri; and sisters, Nola of Granite City, Illinois, and Thelma of St. Louis.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Davy Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Thebes, Illinois.
