DEXTER -- Thomas Jackson Harwood, 72, of Port Orange, Fla., died Wednesday, April 24, 1996, in Port Orange.
He was born Sept. 18, 1923, in Center Ridge, Ark., son of Perd and Annie Hill Harwood. He married the former Edna Presson.
Harwood retired as a clerk at McDonnell Douglas in St. Louis. He had lived in Port Orange since 1993. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Danny Harwood of Daytona Beach, Fla.; a daughter, Gail Glackin of Daytona Beach; a brother, L.J. Harwood of Canalou, and five grandchildren.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 2-4 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hagy Cemetery at Dexter.
