SIKESTON -- Thomas H. Phipps, 65, of Wentzville, died Wednesday, April 19, 1995, at his home. He was formerly of Sikeston.

He was born Jan. 21, 1930, in Morrilton, Ark., son of Claud and Myra Holyfield Phipps. He and Marita J. King were married Feb. 9, 1951, in Piggott, Ark.

Phipps had been an electrical maintenance worker at Hussman Refrigeration Co. in Bridgeton. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Ronald Phipps of St. Louis; two daughters, Kathy DeShaney of O'Fallon, Linda Bonifield of Nashville, Tenn., and 12 grandchildren.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel after 10 a.m. Saturday.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, with Pat Hogan officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
