THOMAS EDWARD HODGES

JACKSON -- Thomas Edward Hodges, 74, of Jackson died Thursday, Aug. 13, 1992 at Deal Nursing Home.

He was born Jan. 19, 1918 at Williamson, W.V., the son of Charles and Nina Thomas Hodges.

He married Thelma Lodwick on Sept. 17, 1977 in Cape Girardeau. She survives.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

He worked as an accountant and was a member of World Wide Church of God.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three stepsons, Raymond, Gary and Ronald Smith; and one stepdaughter, Donna Tate;

He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral service will be held today at 2 p.m. at Cracraft Miller Funeral Chapel in Jackson with Arnold Clauson officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
