SIKESTON -- Thomas C. Brasenell, 73, of Sikeston, died Tuesday, April 23, 1991, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
He was born Jan. 28, 1918, in Jonesboro, Ill., son of John A. and Minerva McIntire Brasenell. He and the former Geraldine Duley were married Feb. 8, 1946, at Miner.
Brasenell had lived here 40 years, and had been a neon tube bender at Canedy Sign Co. He was a member of Miner Baptist Church. Brasenell served with the U.S. Navy during World War II, and received the Bronze Star.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Thomas Brasenell of Memphis, Tenn., and a sister, Jane Moore of Miner.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Revs. Jim Matthews and Dale Merritt will officiate, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
