Theresa Steagall

Theresa Gaye Steagall, 43, of Scott City died Saturday, June 11, 2005, at her home.

She was born May 9, 1962, at Peoria, Ill., daughter of Cecil Claude and Wanda Sue Jackson Harris.

She and Paul William Steagall were married July 13, 2001, at Benton, Mo.

She was a registered nurse at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo.

She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her father, Cecil Harris of Chillicothe, Ill.; her mother and stepfather, Wanda and Bill Schwartz of Scott City; her husband; two sons, Lucas Steagall and Samuel Steagall of the home; two daughters, Ashley Lynn of Scott City, Rachael Lynn of the home; four brothers, Marcus Harris of Port Orchard, Wash., Wade Harris of O'Fallon, Mo., Darrell Harris of Fenton, Mo., Kevin Gresham of Bakersfield, Calif.; a stepbrother, Kevin Schwartz of Cohutta, Ga.; two sisters, Deborah Griffin and Lori Dobbs, both of Jackson; a stepsister, Chrystal Harris of Chillicothe; two grandchildren, Logan Speakman and Brayden Simms; 21 nieces and nephews; and seven great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Terry V. Lynn II.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Barry Pfanstiel officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery at Scott City.
