Theresa Lyn Miller-Myles, 55, died of smoke inhalation in a mobile home fire in New Madrid County, Missouri, on Nov. 1, 2018.
She was born Jan. 17, 1963, in LaJolla, California, to Jim and Nelda Gross Miller.
Theresa was a 1981 graduate of Scott City High School. She previously worked at Southeast Hospital and the office of Dr. David Otto in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include two sons, James Hooe of Cape Girardeau and Corey Hooe of St. Louis; two grandchildren; her mother and stepfather, Nelda and Wayne Gross of Jackson; her father, Jim Miller of Chaffee, Missouri; and a brother, Randall Miller of Jackson.
A private service was held Nov. 7, 2018, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Fruitland.
The family appreciates memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
