THEODORE R. OEHLERT

PERRYVILLE -- Theodore R. "Ted" Oehlert, 85, of Perryville, died Wednesday, Jan. 10, 1996, at the Lutheran Home.

He was born Sept. 17, 1910, in Altenburg, son of Joseph and Marie Gruenwald Oehlert. He and Ella Sticht were married Oct. 18, 1931. She died March 28, 1991.

Oehlert had been a stitcher at International Shoe Co. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Survivors include two sons, Rudolph Oehlert of New Haven, Raymond Oehlert of Perryville; three daughters, Anna Gerler of Gordonville, Esther Petzoldt Kirn of Jackson, Elvira Lorenz Spies of Farrar; 18 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, three sisters and a great-grandchild.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and Friday from 6:30-8:45 a.m.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Immanuel Church, with the Rev. Donald Loesch officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
