THEODORE PENROD

DONGOLA, Ill. -- Theodore Penrod, 88, of Dongola died Saturday, Aug. 13, 1994, at Hillview Nursing Home in Vienna.

He was born Aug. 12, 1906, near Dongola, the son of Henry A. and Ruth Canupp Penrod. On Dec. 8, 1928, he married Hazel Troutman, who survives. He was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church.

Other survivors include three sons, Jerry Penrod of Dongola, Billy Gene Penrod of Dallas, Ga., and Teddy Penrod of Decatur, Ga.; a daughter, Peggy Bradley of Cummings, Ga.; a brother, Carlis Penrod of Cypress; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. today at the Crain Funeral Home in Dongola. The Rev. Kenneth Mixen will officiate, and burial will be in the Friendship Cemetery.
