CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Theodis McCauley, 68, of Charleston died Tuesday, July 25, 2000, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo. He was born Feb. 29, 1932, at Matthews, Mo., son of Cornelous and Gladys Worthey McCauley. He and Katherine Murray were married Aug. 23, 1970...

CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Theodis McCauley, 68, of Charleston died Tuesday, July 25, 2000, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo.

He was born Feb. 29, 1932, at Matthews, Mo., son of Cornelous and Gladys Worthey McCauley. He and Katherine Murray were married Aug. 23, 1970.

McCauley was a retired farmer, and had lived in Mississippi County since 1960.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Rodney McCauley, Anthony and Torrey of Charleston; a daughter, Michele McCauley of Charleston; four brothers, Arron, Billy, Larry and Johnny Worthey of Jackson, Mich.

Also surviving are six sisters, Cleaster Townsend of Charleston, Mary Scott of Chicago, Marilyn Boulder, Helen Cotton, Linda Worthey and Shirley Worthey, all of Jackson, Mich.; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Sparks Funeral Home, with the Rev. Wiley Reed officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from noon to service time.
