EAST PRAIRIE -- Funeral service for Mrs. Thelma Mae Morgan of East Prairie will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Shelby Funeral Chapel here. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.

Mrs. Morgan, 76 years old, died Sunday, Jan. 6, 1991, at East Prairie Nursing Center.

She was born Jan. 6, 1915, here, daughter of Louie Jefferson and Myrtle Mae Rayburn Allen. She married Bob Morgan, who died Jan. 4, 1970.

Mrs. Morgan was of the Protestant faith.

Survivors include two sons, Willie Smith of LaPuenta, Calif., Dewey Smith of Buena Park, Calif.; two daughters, Judith Irby of East Prairie, Glenda Scheffer of Fontana, Calif.; 17 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter and grandson.
