THELMA I. BABCOCK

CHARLESTON -- Funeral service for Thelma Ione Babcock of Charleston was held Monday at McMikle Funeral Chapel in Charleston. The Rev. Rick White officiated, with burial in IOOF Cemetery.

Babcock, 95, died Friday, Nov. 17, 1995, at her home.

She was born Aug. 2, 1900, in Shelbina, daughter of George Edwin and Nancy Irena Taylor Babcock.

Babcock was a graduate of Brown's Business College in St. Louis. She had lived in Charleston since 1919. She was a legal secretary with Haw Law Firm 64 years, and was a member of the United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a sister, Hazeldine Babcock of Charleston.
