Thelma Hensley Bollinger, 87, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Dec. 23, 1993, at the Chateau Girardeau Health Care Center. She was born May 9, 1906, at Cape Girardeau, the daughter of A.A. and Elizabeth Friedrich Beeson. In 1925, she married Joe W. Hensley, who preceded her in death July 25, 1945. She later married Harold J. Bollinger on Dec. 16, 1961, at St. Louis. He preceded her in death on March 25, 1986...

Thelma Hensley Bollinger, 87, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Dec. 23, 1993, at the Chateau Girardeau Health Care Center.

She was born May 9, 1906, at Cape Girardeau, the daughter of A.A. and Elizabeth Friedrich Beeson.

In 1925, she married Joe W. Hensley, who preceded her in death July 25, 1945. She later married Harold J. Bollinger on Dec. 16, 1961, at St. Louis. He preceded her in death on March 25, 1986.

She had worked as an office assistant for Dr. Edward Campbell in Cape Girardeau, and was a laboratory technician at Southeast Missouri Hospital. She and her husband were active members of the Capaha Antique Car Club and the Mid-State Jeepster Association. She also was a former member of St. Denis parish in Benton.

Survivors include a son, Jack A. Hensley of Cape Girardeau, a sister, Leona Dennis of Cape Girardeau, five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by a son and a sister.

A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau. Arthur Kelley will officiate, and burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

Friends may call at the funeral chapel from 2 p.m. until the time of service.
