Thelma E. Green, 85, of Bourbonnais, Ill., died Monday, May 26, 1997, at Riverside Medical Center.
She was born Nov. 13, 1911, at Toga, daughter of Harve and Etta Ervin Lizenbee. She and Thomas Ragain Green were married Nov. 27, 1927, at Jackson.
Green was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Kankakee, Ill., and member of Women's Christ Temperence Union.
Survivors include a son, Melton Green of Bradley, Ill.; a daughter, Dorris Bauer of Nancy, Ky.; a brother, Harold Fingerhut of Millstadt, Ill.; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, a brother, and a great-grandson.
Funeral service was held Thursday at First Church of the Nazarene. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
Schreffler Funeral Home in Kankakee is in charge of arrangements.
