Thelma Files

CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Thelma Files, 76, of Charleston died Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2002, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo.

She was born Aug. 16, 1926, in Charleston, daughter of Overton and Marie Williams Donaldson.

Files was a lifelong resident of Charleston. She worked at Brown Shoe Co. 36 years, retiring in 1992.

Survivors include a grandson, Gary Files, and a granddaughter, Lori Files, both of Diehlstadt, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, a brother, and a sister.

Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston from 5 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The Rev. Kelley Grubbs will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
