THELMA FELTY

JACKSON -- Funeral service for Thelma F. Felty of Jackson will be held at 1 p.m. today at Fairview United Methodist Church near Burfordville. Jack Byrd will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home from 9-11 a.m., and then at the church from noon to service time.

Felty, 81, died Thursday, Aug. 21, 1997, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Nov. 11, 1915, at Millersville, daughter of William H. and Emma J. Wallis Summers. She and Edwin "Doc" Felty were married Jan. 24, 1938, at Benton. He died Nov. 14, 1990.

Felty worked on the family farm, and was a member of Fairview Church.

Survivors include a sister, Florence Rastl of Jackson.

She was preceded in death by a brother and four sisters.
