EAST PRAIRIE -- Thelma Coyle Comer, 84, of East Prairie died Thursday, Oct. 28, 1999, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.She was born April 22, 1915, in Cullman, Ark., daughter of Louis Haskell and Ellen Sharpton McAfee. She and Paul D. Comer were married July 7, 1937. He died March 12, 1992.Comer lived in East Prairie most of her life. She worked 27 years at Prairie Manufacturing. She was a member of First Church of God and was a former choir member.Survivors include a daughter, Paula Lewis of East Prairie; two sisters, Georgia Cameron of Nashville, Tenn., Opal Legg of Dickson, Tenn.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie after 5 p.m. today.Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Larry Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery.
