OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. -- Thelma Browning, 85, of Olive Branch died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2007, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born Feb. 6, 1922, in Tacoma, Wash., daughter of Harry and Jessie (Sackett) Ball. She married Ernest Browning on July 16, 1941.
She was a member of the Mounds Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include her husband; four sons, Ernie Browning of Bradenton, Fla., Robert Browning of Palmetto, Fla., Gilbert Browning of Olive Branch and Gary Browning of Mulkeytown, Ill.; two daughters, Darlene McDaniel of Villa Ridge, Ill., and Cindy Jackman of Benton, Mo.; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four sisters, Frances Richards, Lois Stark and Dorothy Calvert, all of Tacoma, and Delores Capino of Eatonville, Wash.; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms, Ill.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Larry Buckles officiating. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Thebes, Ill.
