BLOOMFIELD -- Thelda "Teddie" Winters, 75, of Three Oaks, Mich., died Saturday, June 21, 1997, at St. Anthony's Hospital in Crown Point, Ind.

She was born April 5, 1922, at Bloomfield, daughter of Roy and Essie Hilderbrand Link. She and Edwin Winters were married Jan. 27, 1946, in Little Rock, Ark.

The Winters lived in Ypsilanti, Mich., and St. Louis before moving to Three Oaks in 1974. She was a volunteer at Three Oaks Thrift Shop and Food Pantry many years, and was a member of Moose Lodge 980 in Michigan City, Ind.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Sterling Winters of Arnold; two daughters, Karen Stage of Poplar Bluff, Carole Becker of Pevely; and three grandchildren.

Friends may call at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday.

Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Walker Cemetery, with the Rev. Kevin Eskew officiating.
