SCOTT CITY, Mo. -- Theda Frances Stamp, 79, of Scott City died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2001, at Ratliff Care Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Sept. 10, 1921, at Illmo, Mo., daughter of Alfred A. and Nora Etter Lambert. She and Homer Millard Stamp Sr. were married June 29, 1940, in Cape Girardeau. He died Dec. 14, 1997.
Stamp was a member of First Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include four sons, Homer Stamp Jr. of Scott City, Mark Stamp of Little Rock, Ark., David Stamp of Kelso, Mo., Lynn Stamp of Millersville, Mo.; three daughters, Charlotte Williamson and June Drum of Millersville, Ruth Moore of Jefferson City, Mo.; two brothers, Lyle Lambert of Thebes, Ill., Alfred Lambert Jr. of Scott City; three sisters, Juanita Carlton, Estella Wroblewski and Rose Walter, all of Scott City; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, a brother, and a sister.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City after 4 p.m. today, and after noon Saturday at First Assembly of God Church.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the church, with the Revs. Randy Morse and Charles Lance officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery.
