CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Theda Welch Farrell Hutson, 70, of Charleston died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2001, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo.
She was born Sept. 7, 1931, at Wyatt, Mo., daughter of Victor and Lucille Welch. She and Cleve E. Farrell were married Sept. 3, 1949. He died Sept. 28, 1995. She and Elmer Hutson were married April 21, 1997.
Hutson lived in Charleston most of her life. She retired from Brown Shoe Co. in 1988, and was a member of Southside Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Cathy Alsup of Bertrand, Mo., Diane Farrell of Charleston; two brothers, Jim Welch of Oklahoma City, Okla., Mickey Welch of Arnold; two sisters, Ann Jackson of Charleston, Vicki Miller of Arnold, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, a grandson, and a great-granddaughter.
Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Revs. Ed Carter and Dale Huff will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
