PATTON, Mo. — The Rev. Lee A. Myers, 54, of Patton died Tuesday, July 22, 2008, at his home.
He was born June 24, 1954, at Perryville, Mo., son of Allen Denzel and Margaret Jean Biri Myers. He and Doris Jean Statler were married Nov. 23, 1974.
Myers was a truck driver for SEMO Ready Mix, an ordained minister for the Congregational Methodist denomination and a member of Plainview Congregational Methodist Church.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Survivors include his wife; his mother of Perryville; a daughter, Lesa Myers of Tallahassee, Fla.; two stepsons, Lawrence Cathey Jr. of Sedgewickville, Mo., Timothy Cathey of Perryville; two brothers, Darrel Biri and Don Myers of Perryville; two sisters, Linda Schumer of Perryville, Kathy Franklin of Brewer, Mo.; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father and a grandson.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to service time Friday at Liley Funeral Home in Patton.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Kevin Mills and Steve Jordan officiating. Burial will be in Post Oak Cemetery near Patton.
